What Apple gets about discipleship

Not long ago I was in the Apple store working on my iPhone. A young lady was helping me—she probably looked to be in her early twenties. While she was working on my phone I start talking to her about her job.

I asked, “Have you been working here long?”

Fluid and Flexible

Whenever the cloud lifted from above the tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped. — NUMBERS 9:17

How well do you go with the flow?
How flexible are you?

Planning is good. Making plans is encouraged. But what if the plan is to simply be ready? Such was the case for the Israelites.

The Israelites simply kept their eye on a cloud. Wherever it went, they followed.

One day my friend Don informed me that he had determined to begin acquiring businesses in related fields so he would be able to sell his customers more products and services – and be able to make more money. More sales can translate into more revenue, which usually means more profits.

I had a revelation this past week as I was reading my Bible. There has been a lot of change in technology over the past 3000 years, but none of it has affected the veracity of Scripture! Not only is the Bible still true, but it is just as relevant! Maybe, more so, since we are closer to Christ’s return.

I want you to imagine that you are sitting in a group and I am speaking. Now, imagine that I’m holding an apple in my hand…a red, clean, crisp apple.

The rule of the fool
